Travel-Ready Wardrobe Essentials

The Travel Edit — Travel-Ready Wardrobe Pieces

Tengdahl's Travel Edit is a capsule of three pieces designed to work across an entire trip without over-packing: the Christie Shirt, the Catherine Dress, and Ocean Shibori cotton jacquard. Each piece is chosen for how it travels — not just how it photographs — so a handful of items can be styled a dozen different ways.

What is the Christie Shirt made for?

The Christie Shirt is built to move from flight to afternoon to dinner without needing a fresh outfit. Folded carefully, it comes out of a packed bag ready to wear — ironing is optional, not required.

Why is the Katherine Dress good for travel?

The Katherine Dress is designed to work as a single piece across several occasions on the same trip. Its fabric holds its shape in a suitcase, and the cut adapts from day to evening — layered, belted, worn as a jacket, or worn loose — so one dress can replace two or three.

What is Ocean Shibori fabric?

Ocean Shibori is a hand-dyed cotton jacquard, woven for texture and give. Because the dye is bound and released by hand, no two pieces pattern the same way. It's used across the Travel Edit in a pant, skirt, bustier, vest, and jacket.

How do the Travel Edit pieces work together?

The three pieces are designed to be mixed rather than worn as fixed outfits — the Ocean Shibori jacket over the Christie Shirt for cooler evenings, or the Ocean Shibori skirt with the Katherine Dress underneath, to name a few combinations. Four to five items can produce a full week of outfits.
